erotica-ghost-writer: The Story of Rhai - Prologue (I have written this as a prologue to ‘The Story of Ryai’. I had just gotten off the phone with a friend who, as usual, turned a conversation about a BBQ into a conversation about everything that was wrong with Star Trek. Forty-five minutes, and way more information that I needed, later I sat down and started typing this. You might like it, you might not. Forgive me. If you do get a kick out of it I ask you to read ‘Ryai’ parts 1 & 2 as I am currently hacking through the final part 3 as I absolutely hate loose unfinished stories running around. Thank you, again. – Hungrybear.) Step one. Place tongue in cheek. ………………………………………………………………………………………… The year is 2215. After the surprisingly short “Snowflake wars” of 2021 the Earth entered a period of relative peace and prosperity among nations. In order to further this new age of prosperity some dozen of the more advanced nations decided to merge their individual space programs and finally explore the far reaches of their solar system. It was not long after until the vast riches of space were able to benefit the Earth. Mining, medicine, terra-forming, and various other technologies enabled the Human race to expand and colonize even the farthest planets and moons. The ‘Great Discovery” was made in 2071 when a group of astrophysicists uncovered an ancient space-ship, complete with the skeletons of its ancient pilots, which had crash-landed centuries ago on Pluto. This is where we get the rather iconic phrase “Hey, Leonard, look at what I found!” and “Not now Sheldon, I’m getting busy with the blond!” Reverse engineering the vessel led to the discovery of a large number of new technologies. This includes, and especially, the quantum-magnetic drive. This technology allowed the Human race to advance into the vastness of space where we soon, and to the surprise of most everyone who was not a Trekkie, encountered a true alien civilization in 2118. War soon followed. Humankinds’ first encounter with an alien culture was with the Ael’ha which shared a similar physiology and desire for expansion. The Human and Ael’ha ambassador ships met soon after and both races looked forward to a wonderful exchange of ideas and cultures ushering in a Golden Age for both peoples. Unfortunately, and by a cruel quirk of fate, the Human’s first diplomatic message “We come in peace” translated in Ael’ha to an insult so personal and unthinkably vile that the Ael’ha ship immediately opened fire. This led to over a hundred years of bloody and destructive interstellar warfare that nearly saw the end of both races. Shocking everyone in the near Galaxy, the Humans, despite having no actual battle fleet at the start of the war and no idea how to build one, eventually overcame the Ael’ha with a combination of skill, adaptability, perseverance, and a shocking proclivity for mass murder. The Ael’ha, reduced to near extinction level population, decided to save their failing race by doing the unthinkable. Starting slowly at first, the entire female population of the Ael’ha was encouraged to mate with, and bear children by, the occupying Human Space Marine forces. This took some doing but eventually the females came around. The Human Space Marines, for their part, needed little to no encouragement to mate with the native Ael’ha female population. Now, nearly 100 years later, the Ael’ha are a thriving race once more bound by their very genepool to the people of Earth. The two races have formed a sort of Federation and have invited other races of the Galaxy into their fold winning them over with a combination of deft diplomacy, lucrative trade agreements, shared medical knowledge, propensity for mass murder, and judicious use of occupying Space Marines among the native female populations. It is truly a Golden Age. In a strangely similar manner the Brunai, an advanced race of star-faring and blue-skinned individuals ruled primarily through a caste system, found themselves at war with the insectivore Qleigith. Although both races had a similar love of peace and harmony, both races also shared a similar love of the same planets and being the most affluent race in the Galactic neighborhood. The propensity for the Qleigith to out-breed the Brunai led to further problems. So, as these things happen (no matter what some people might tell you), war eventually broke out between the two races. Nearly a century later the Brunai and Qleigith, unable to field ay more forces due to a mutual collapse of their economies and dearth of resources, declared an armistice. The Brunai, however, unable to replenish their population as quickly as the Qleigith, found themselves in the same situation as the Ael’ha. Added to that an endemic plague that made many Brunai males infertile struck at this time, a product of the many uses of chemical warfare during the century long struggle. They knew that as soon as the Qleigith realized that their own population far exceeded the devastated Brunai war would come again and this time they would not have the strength to defend themselves. With their enemies breathing down their necks they needed a plan. After rejecting a plan brought to them by many dead Bothians, the Scientific Caste of Engineers, put forward a plan to use Human Males to impregnate the female population of Brunai. Since sending ambassadors to Earth to ask for Human males, or worse a visit by the Space Marines, was abhorrent to many it was determined that a single scout, a volunteer, would brave the attempt. A female was chosen and given orders to fly her advanced stealth ship to Earth, find a suitable Human male, and (as ghastly horrible as the Humans might look and smell) engage in sexual relations with the subject. If the two races were indeed compatible and the courageous volunteer actually did become pregnant further steps would be taken. Otherwise they would be forced to go reconsider the other ideas which included cloning troopers and evolving weird and deadly alien life forms. After a long and tearful vetting process, Sub-commander Ryai of the Explorer Caste was chosen to undertake this distasteful secret mission. She was young, fertile, attractive, and was willing to sacrifice herself for her people even if it did mean mating with an alien species which evolved from tree dwelling mammals that spent their days angrily tossing feces at each other. The year is 2118 and her story begins. I see that the Bothians have it bad in every universe!! lol -- source link
