The first photo was taken almost 4 years ago. I was 25, 180 lbs and still ashamed of my body. I thought certain clothes weren’t meant to be worn on a body like mine. I was dealing with severe, untreated PTSD/OCD and an upcoming move from the only home I ever knew. The second photo was me 6 hours ago. I’m (almost) 29, 214 lbs, happy and thriving. I’ve gained weight, mostly from the medications that keep me happy and thriving. I’m working as a healthcare worker, just rented a new apartment with my roommate, and living unashamed in my body. Weight gain shouldn’t be scary. Weight gain shouldn’t stop people from getting help, trying new things, and growing as a person. -- source link
