Today we are featuring four traditional Indian instruments. The tumboora is similar to a modern guitar, but larger. The sarinda is similar to a violin. Next is the pennauck. This instrument is made from the rinds of pumpkins or gourds and has a long fingerboard with seven strings. Finally, the jultrung is a collection of earthen or porcelain bowls that are played with sticks or pieces of iron.
