coffee-clubbers:Hi Naked News Girl and Coffee Clubbers!Ever since I was young, I loved bones. When I was younger, it was a good excuse to spend all day in the woods, searching for them beneath the leaves. When I got older, bones appeared in my poetry–the beauty of them, the strength and the delicacy, the intricate marrow, the calcification of old breaks.Since I already shared some of my collection during the Nature theme week, I decided to share what goes into my collecting. Since I find all my bones, I often need to clean them myself if nature hasn’t done it for me. So this is what I’m doing in this photo–rinsing them and getting them prepped for a peroxide bath. It’s not the most glamorous hobby, but I love every single part of it.-seewhichHere’s something not many people here know about me, but once upon a time I studied archaeology. So, I actually know what you are talking about in terms of cleaning found objects. No, it’s not glamorous, but it is a part of something you love, so it takes on its own magic. And you’ve certainly added a bit of allure to it the way you’ve photographed it here. You look happy, content, focused. It’s truly a lovely image.Thank you for submitting!
