possiblywoman:queerpontmercy:skylowalker:arinashitabun:Art by Hector aka shitty watercolor[ID: three watercolor comics with a simple, colorful, childlike style. first comic: 1) a gray and white cat and a person with short messy brown hair and rosy cheeks are walking together in the pouring rain. both are wearing yellow raincoats with hoods. the person says “i’m sad.” 2.) closeup on the cat’s face as they say “try adding ‘for now’.”3) the person slowly says “i’m sad…for now.” a wide, zoomed-out shot shows many puddles, as the person and cat continue to walk together in the rain. second comic: 1) the same character, in a blue sweater and black pants, is in the far of the panel, sitting criss-cross with their back against a cabinet in an empty kitchen or dining room, looking down and frowning. from near the front of the panel, from their seat near the table, the cat asks, “what’s wrong?” the cat’s back is to the reader, and facing the character in the comic. 2.) close-up on the person, who looks tired and defeated. they hang their head and say “about a million things.” 3.) close-up on the cat, who has a gentle smile. “you know, i can’t even count to 3.” (pause) “and 2 is quite tricky.” 4.) the cat has moved to snuggle near the person, who has their arm out in order to cuddle. they say to the person, “so let’s deal with them one at a time.”third comic: 1.) the same person in the blue sweater is lying down on a bed with white sheets, staring out in front of them. the cat is behind their body, peeking up from behind their back and looking thoughtful. the person frowns, and says “I think I lean on you too much for support. It’s not fair on you.” 2.) the same panel, but slightly zoomed in. the cat has a fond smile and asks “do you remember that time i ran up the tree and got stuck?” the person starts to smile. 3.) the cat continues, “you stayed there with me all day in the rain until i came back down.” we see a zoomed out image of a flashback: the cat peeks out from the top of a tree, while their person sits on the ground, looking up with a warm smile. it’s raining hard, and the person is wearing their yellow raincoat from the earlier comic. 4.) back to the current scene as the person opens their arms with a smile and the cat leaps in to snuggle. they say “i’d do that every day if i had to.” the cat simply replies, “we all have our trees,” giving that same gentle smile. /end ID]@blushlikeroses saw this and thought of you -- source link
