Melania Trump statue, Sevnica || Statue of Liberty*, Sela pri Kamniku*similarity to any real-life person is up to viewers’ interpretationRecently (30 August 2019), a sculpture in the likeness of Donald Trump has been erected, joining (metaphorically, not physically – they are more than 50km apart) the Melania statue, built some 2 months earlier (which has been discussed before).Unlike the Melania statue, the “Statue of Liberty” is not set to last. Since it only has a temporary permit, it has to be removed from the land it’s on by 31st October.
