The link wouldn’t work but I took this screenshot of the two first paragraphs from the NYT reporting: The wife goes on to state that she knew he wouldn’t turn his firearms in, so she did it for him. There was argument that it wasn’t burglary because she was taking the items specifically to give to the police. The whole situation is terrifying and disgusting. A domestic abuse survivor sticks up for herself and her children in a passive, nonviolent way and she’s arrested and potentially facing charges for it. Now her abuser can further harass her by possibly persuing action in court.Just terrible. -- source link
