What does it mean when your D&D character becomes part celestial in order to escape a diabolic contract? You get to draw wings!!!!! I just love the way wings move and how flight looks. I used manuscripts and paintings of angels from the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries as inspiration. Back then many angel drawings had much more interesting wings with many different colors and patterns and I love the idea of angel wings being more exciting instead of just the standard, easy, ‘big and white’. I also gave him a halo effect that appears very rarely when the sun hits him just right and looks almost like a mirage. -- source link
