I am sorry for this absolutely massive post. This is my Jeff the Killer Alternate Universe. I am still working out the flaws in the story. I’m not a writer so it’s all kind of a jumbled mess. I was just going to design some of the characters, but then I went and made backstories and a whole storyline. I’ve kind of taken some of the names and stuff from various different Jeff stories and added them together.Let’s start with Jeff and Liu’s mother. Mallory Williams and her older sister Marcy’s parents were killed when Mal was 6 and Marcy was 11. They had no idea what the creature was that killed them (it was the rake lol) Mal witnessed the whole thing. She develops a life long obsession with wanting to prolong human life, are make humans more durable. She thinks if there are creatures like that out there humans don’t stand a chance. She ends up completely going off the deep end. Mal and Marcy are both geniuses. Mal uses her intelligence to go to college and enter the fields of study’s she wants. She’s interested in genetic engineering and cloning and such (idk I don’t know science) She ends up landing a job at some kind of offbrand SCP foundation (I wanted her to work in something like this but I don’t actually know much about that particular fandom) they sought her out since she was in the top of her class and she was already digging into cases involving supernatural creatures. Marcy is kind of a mess. She obsessed with computers and hacking into stuff. She’s into a lot of illegal activities. She forges a lot of documents and ID’s. She does all kinds of stuff she probably shouldn’t, but does it anyways just because she can. She’d been in trouble with the law a few times, but hadn’t really been busted for anything major. Then as a teen she got high one night and hacked into the pentagon. She was arrested and was gonna be locked away, but ended up getting hired for her hacking skills by the government, on the grounds that she ceases her illegal hobbies. She agreed but,  she continued such hobbies anyways and she hasn’t been caught yet. She likes to hack into the social media accounts of government officials and photoshop herself dressed as a pirate into the backgrounds of their photos. They haven’t noticed. Her daughter Sarah was born when she was in her late twenties, she tried to clean up her act a bit for her.     Mal met her husband while at college, the bonded over their love of science. (I don’t really know what he does, I haven’t put as much thought into his character.) He’s a genuinely nice and caring guy. They got married either during or after college. He doesn’t actually know what his wife does for a living, he thinks she works at a cancer research lab. Mal’s job is a top secret sort of thing, her husband and sister don’t know what she does, Marcy could probably find out but Mal asked her not to pry and she respects her wishes. Mal a very morally ambiguous character. And she has a bit of free range with her research. While testing out cloning capabilities, she makes a genetically altered clone of her husband and uses herself to carry the baby. The experiment turned out perfect, not an exact replica as she intended, the gene alterations and other science stuff worked. Her husband doesn’t know, he thinks Liu is just a child they conceived together.  The cloning of supernatural creatures never seems to work, she has whole lab full of failed experiments. She’s had success splicing the genes together with lab rats, but most don’t live long. One day the facility she works for somehow manages to capture The Slenderman. She is tasked with trying to replicate any genetic material or  DNA? (idk im just gunna call it dna) they get from it. Nothing works because it’s some kind of eldritch creature. (Probably gonna change a few things from what I wrote in the first image) She once again herself as a test subject, she conceives a child with her husband and splices together the Slenderman DNA with the embryo. (idk how this works I don’t know science) Experiment # 1-344 ends up coming out as pretty much a normal child, a few anomalies in the DNA but otherwise human. Around the same time Slenderman escapes from the facility. So now with the main subject gone, the higher ups in the facility want 1-344 to be their main subject. Mal has maybe a sliver of humanity left, maybe she doesn’t want the child to be subject to their experiments or maybe she just doesn’t want HER subject to be in their hands now. Either way she takes the child and flees. Her family has now been in hiding for years. Marcy has helped her fake identity’s a few times, and she has moved to different locations a few times. Deep down she feels there is no way the facility could let her disappear so easily. She thinks they’re probably keeping tabs on her, waiting to make a move if the subject ever displays any supernatural attributes. She keeps in contact with Marcy because she knows if she didn’t Marcy would track her down anyways. Her husband, Peter I’ll just call him Peter now. He was horrified with what Mal had really been doing. He thinks she’s a cold hearted monster. He wanted to leave when he found out what she had done, but stayed because he wants to protect the kids. He wants to try to give them a normal life. He’s not around much though, he works a lot now that Mal’s out of job and trying to lay low. So he’s not home much. When he is home he argues with Mal a lot. He eventually lands a higher paying job and they decided to take a chance and move to a nice neighborhood. Lui is a very nerdy dude, he’s very smart, and loves science like his parents. He’s an optimist. He loves animals  and wants to study wildlife and work at a wildlife rehabilitation center. He’ll talk about a subject he’s interested in for hours on end. He really loves to talk. He loves his little brother and always sticks up for him. He tries to push him to do better in school and apply himself more to the things he’s interested in. He can be a bit annoying at times, doesn’t really know when to shut up, but he means well.Jeff is not exactly stable, he’s a human spliced with the DNA of a creature that most people can’t stand in close proximity to without having some adverse reaction.  He was ok as a kid, happy and energetic. He had some random bursts of anger that resulted in some staticky tv’s and flickering lightbulbs, but otherwise was normal. But his problems got worse as he got older, more and more anger outbursts. He wants to be normal and happy but he’s also plagued with weird dreams and nightmares. Most of them involving a tall faceless man in a suit. There is one in particular that he keeps having reoccurring dreams of. He finds himself standing in the middle of a clear shallow lake. On all sides is a foggy forest forming a circle around the lake. When he looks up there’s a full moon shining down reflecting in the water. When he looks down and sees his reflection he realizes he has no face. He panics, clawing at his face, trying to cut into his skin with his nails. He feels as though he is suffocating, his fingers dig into his face, carving a wide smile and hallow eye sockets. He looks at his reflection again, and sees that his skin is pale white and his hair has turned black. He hears something in the distance, he looks up and sees the tall man standing at the edge of the lake. He wakes up in a panic. He writes most of his dreams down in a journal, along with illustrations of the creatures and places he sees.  Jeff is very intelligent, just like his other family members, but he can’t seem to ever apply that in any meaningful way. He has trouble concentrating especially in school. He spends a lot of time drawing. He really likes to draw, it relaxes him. He has bad anger issues, and always feels like he’s about to snap. He loves his brother Liu, even if Liu annoys him sometimes. Liu helps keep him grounded and helps calm him down when he’s angry. Then there’s Randy, the bully from the original story. He has rich parents that are absent most of the time. They are neglectful and sort of abusive. Randy craves attention, he’s definitely sort of a bully stereotype, he’s a huge jerk and really annoying.  Probably redeemable.Then his two henchmen. Troy just wanted to stay inside and play Block Build (i just doodled that on his shirt as sort of an offbrand Minecraft, but then I looked it up and it’s actually a thing) but his mom told him to go outside and make some friends. He ended up as one of Randy’s minions. He’s never really had any “friends” before so he’ll do anything for Randy’s approval. Redeemable.Then there’s Keith. Keith craves destruction and nothing more. Irredeemable.I didn’t put much thought into Sarah’s character, I just wanted them to have some other family members.  Sara is a good law abiding citizen. She rejects the hacker ways and wants to live a chill stress free life.The story plays out as sort of a mix of the old Jeff story and that remake. There is an altercation involving bikes and fighting. Liu takes the blame, and he’s sent to stay with Aunt Marcy. Mal considers moving but tries to wait and see if all this will calm down. She doesn’t want attentions brought on her family. Over the years she has started to actually care for her boys instead of viewing them more as her test subjects. She starts feeling guilt and remorse for her actions.  She wants to turn over a new leaf and actually become a mother to them. But then she’s killed by Jeff before that can happen, the irony. Anyways Jeff’s face is injured somehow while being forced to try and make amends with Randy. He ends up in the hospital. Liu is brought back home. Mal makes plans to change identities and move again because the situation has brought too much attention. Jeff is brought home from the hospital.  The damage to his face is not too severe but when he see’s the bandages on it he keeps having flashbacks to his dream and freaks. He cuts the whole smile thing and the eyelids off because he keeps flashing back to that dream and his trying to cut his face out. The skin and hair is due to the Slenderman DNA (I don’t know why that would make his hair turn black but just go with it lol) the stress of the last few days and the hospital incident triggered something. He completely snaps and kills his parents, he attacks Liu too but Liu survives the attack. Then Jeff runs off to go be a creepypasta in the woods. Aunt Marcy and Sarah were staying in a hotel nearby, they had come to visit when they heard Jeff was in the hospital. Marcy comes to visit the next day after she had called them earlier but nobody answered their phones. She finds the bodies and Liu, and calls the police. Marcy is devistated. Liu is rushed to the hospital. He has lots of scaring and is blind in one eye now. Marcy sees some weird individuals hanging around the crime scene (it’s the people from Mal’s old job) She decides to finally look into where Mal used to work. She hacks into their servers (idk I don’t know how hacking works) and basically finds a whole supernatural creature database. The facility actually realizes someone’s hacking them and trace it back to her. They basically sort of kidnap her since she’s seen classified information. They tell her she’s going to use her skills to help them track down their subject. So Marcy’s stuck with them now.Sarah’s is like “where my mom at??” Liu wants revenge for what Jeff did to their parents. But then he finds Jeff’s journal and some research files of their Mom’s and realizes there’s more going on than he thought. Liu and Sara sort of team up to search for Jeff and Marcy. They’re probably traveling around in a camper van searching for any leads. They’re following news reports of Jeff the Killer trying to track him down. Probably encountering other creepypastas and cryptids along the way.They do eventually track Jeff down, and somewhat snap him out of his murderous rampage. Slenderman is involved at some point. I don’t know I don’t have much more planned than that. Anyways this is just an AU I’ve been working on for fun, still a work in progress.The backgrounds for the pictures are just images I got off google and then blurred them. I used a reference from google of people hugging for the picture of Jeff and Liu hugging because I don’t know how to draw hugs. So if you google people hugging crying there is a picture that looks pretty similar. I made Jeff blonde for my design of him because I just wanted there to be a huge contrast between regular Jeff and Killer Jeff.  -- source link
