mailboxes outside of an abandoned tenant house across the street from a graveyard. the tenant house
mailboxes outside of an abandoned tenant house across the street from a graveyard. the tenant house was in the middle of nowhere, isolated and only accessible by passing a dangerous narrow road around a large lake. the house was abandoned after the owner died. the house itself stuck around for a while, subdivided in an odd way for tenants that made it very odd to walk through openly as an explorer. walls where they shouldn’t be, doors leading to nowhere, and a very weird sense of being watched for some reason. not long after, the house was torn down and now it is just empty land. all that remains is some old tenant mailboxes, broken down with bad ontario weather and general disuse. the owner is buried across the street in the baptist cemetery. i used to joke that he haunted the place because in this house you really did feel like you were about to see someone behind you every time you turned around and felt very watched. -- source link
