negrowhat:itsanidiom:DAY 16 - SHOW THAT YOU DROPPEDOKAY this is gonna be SO CONTROVERSIAL because I am very aware that like everyone loves it and honestly I didn’t give it much of a chance…I dropped THE UNTAMED ( ^^; ) You can boo me it’s fine LOL I only watched Episode 1 and I just didn’t get what was going on. The visual effects also really take me out of it and I’d just finished watching Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty which is also a Chinese BL. It’s SO GOOD that it was really hard to get into a series that was in a similar setting. There was a bit too much lore right off the bat. I do like fantasy but often I notice they ‘avoid info dumps’ but like…I really could have used an info dump (like the opening in LOTR)…so yeah…I dunno… ( ^^; ) I like the aesthetics and the actors but I don’t know if I’ll get into it. YOU GO STRAIGHT TO JAIL! HOW COULD YOU SAY THIS? I’M HEARTBROKEN!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE IT ANOTHER GO! The first 2 eps is set in the present and then you get sent to the past to get the full story!
