yeeowch: yeeowch:Transitions.shot on fujicolor superia 400.this was a very personal piece. i wanted to capture the feeling of being 15 and trans, but then also the destruction of that feeling as ive gotten older. i am not trapped in the wrong body, i am a whole person in a body that is my own. the story behind this triptych is that one day i had a like. vision of it. as with any good artistic pursuit. so when i saw the mannequin crotch at goodwil i knew that was a sign that i was meant to do that shoot. and so i bought it, embroidered it, made a gaff for it, packed it up in a duffel with my photography equipment and spraypaint, and called the owner of the local punk venue asking if i could set up and take photos in the womens bathroom. not only did he say yes he let me in 2 hours before the place opened -- source link
