Palestinian woman Sahar Kabaha, 33, sits beside her 10-year-old daughter Nashwa, in the Arab-Israeli town of Bartaa on June 12, 2013. After her Israeli Arab husband died last year, Israel’s Interior Ministry refused to renew her permit to live in the Jewish state, effectively denying her the right to remain in the country, even though her four children are Israeli citizens. She now lives without legal papers and is appealing the decision. “I’m living on my nerves,” said Kabaha, “All I want is permission to be with my children. They don’t have anybody else to care for them.” | ‘Temporary’ ban on Palestinians living in Israel with spouses now in its 10th year[Credit : Dusan Vranic/AP] -- source link
