I saw recently that there’s a competition being run to have your artwork put on a t-shirt, with the prize being to win ‘intergalactic fame’ among other things. I was considering entering, until I realised that not only do you have to sign away your right to be recognised as the author of the work, but the artist receives nothing at all from the sale of the shirts with their art on it.
