A murder had happened the night before and no one had found the body until later today, and it had been the third one this month; second within a week. Everyone blamed it on the world coming to an end, the Myan’s Apocalypse, which so happened to be today. Many had guessed it could have been some lunatic that ‘didn’t want other to die at the hand of the Apocalypse’, but no one had been able to make any factual guesses.Detective Legs was brought to this case; odd though she may be, she was the best for the job. Every case she was on, she had solved, no one had been able to out smart her intellect. This case would be no different.She whipped her waist back to knock her fedora further over her navel, then walked around the victim. Her footsteps were slow and quiets, sure to never step in any evidence that would be needed. She seemed in thought as she stared the body down. Carefully she lift a foot and opened the victim’s jacket, then kicked out a small package. Cocaine.Detective Legs jutted out a hip in a huff, then turned around and and started observing the rest of the room. Hips swaying, she walked over to the bookshelves and, gracefully, lifted a leg in the air and carefully tugged a book out. As it fell to the ground, it flopped open and more cocaine fell out.
