20 years ago, I stood in line for hours to vote in my first presidential election (Bush v Gore, so y’all know how that turned out). I was 21 and HUGELY pregnant, to the point that the people around me in line were starting to get worried due to the number of Braxton-Hicks I was having. Three weeks later, I gave birth to my oldest son. Today, that son (now 20) and I submitted our absentee ballots for his first presidential election! Hopefully his has a much better outcome.Vote early if you can. Vote absentee if you can. Drop your ballot into an official ballot drop box if you can. Make sure your vote gets counted! -- source link
