arcadephile:tumblokami:arcadephile:How do we feel about the Pokken Tournament arcade cabinet? Personally I think it almost looks really awesome, and I’d be pretty keen to play it. BUT, the use of the console controller kind of ruins it for me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a cool controller, I’m just not sure I want one on an arcade cabinet.Thoughts?The game was built to be played with a controller. It would probably be really awkward with a proper stick. Besides, the controller is absolutely solid and built by HORI.I don’t entirely take your point, given it uses a d-pad. If it used an analog stick it’d be a totally different matter.I played it Japan and I thought it was … ok? :/ it felt more like I was playing a game demo in a store rather than an arcade game. -- source link
