I could do this for days actually.What I like about these old photos: no Photoshopping. The urge to brush away any fold or wrinkle, or well, anything resembling a face has become a real disease. It’s approaching the Uncanny Valley—just blank masks everywhere. Eyes floating in a pink-ish haze.Speaking of Photoshop: there are so many fake Marilyn Monroe photos around, it’s not funny anymore. Marilyn with James Dean, with Elvis, JFK, with straight black hair and a cat on her lap, nude, whatever. And fake quotes to go along with the fake photos.
