I’m hollering internally. I can’t believe that they used that, rather obscure, small lore piece of duckworld. Why obscure? Well, that’s most probably how Huey, Dewey and Louie dad dies in the comics. It’s never stated that way, it’s just a strong guess that fans have, because, well… It’s mentioned in a (probably) whole one comic that’s the reason why triplets are staying with Donald. And later they do not come home. We don’t know what excatly happened to their dad later, so he most likely just fuckin died. But hey, they still had their mother, yes? Well, no. The idea that Della went into space also appeared in one comic. So, if she was absent and their dad didn’t take the boys back home, he probably wasn’t around to do so.Huey, Dewey and Louie accidentaly killed their dad.Not officially, bUT.
