The walls along our plaza are once again activated with portraits by JR’s Inside Out Project.
The walls along our plaza are once again activated with portraits by JR’s Inside Out Project. However, this time each portrait celebrates one of Brooklyn’s heroic health care workers. In spring 2020, photographer Elizabeth Sherman made portraits as individuals were starting or finishing their long shifts at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, in Fort Greene, and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, in Park Slope. Take a stroll to the Museum to celebrate these brave health care workers—many of which traveled from out of state to help, leaving loved ones behind and putting their own lives at risk.
