sylleth:its odd how conveniently yall forget that Bernie had the largest turnouts for voting and yet lower polling numbers. its called voter fraud and there have been multiple investigations in Hillary’s team that show thousands of bernie votes have been scratched, thrown away, deterred, as well as running millennials most likely to vote for him away from the polls with harassment. like it was not discreet, i was at the caucus for nevada and i had hillary staff screaming in my face and redoing the votes seven times over, frustratingly, each time bernie got the majority. if you think the reason bernie lost the nomination is because “lol stupid young people like to use twitter and not vote” rather than a billionare woman with a track record of cheating and breaking the law, using this wealth to her advantage to swing the votes, then honestly you’re the reason why people don’t go out and vote to begin with. you sit and belittle young people for getting involved in politics, and then you tease them for being pushed out by a system that doesn’t value them.I definitely disagree with the gross and condescending sentiment OP is expressing in that tweet, but claims of Clinton vote shenanigans are Overblown, uniformly melt away under even the most basic scrutiny, and distract from the very real problems with the US voting system, and how the unscrupulous actually exploit them. Clinton did not steal the primary, nor did she radically over-perform her pre-vote polling performance, nor is exit polling always accurate; consider that it is voluntary, that more motivated voters will be more motivated to participate in it, that some voters vote in ways(off peak hours, through the mail, ect) which exit polling can’t capture. And Clinton doesn’t have “a track-record of cheating and breaking the law”; she has a “track record of Republicans making up absurd conspiracies about her because they’re pissed her husband won an election in 1992″. -- source link
