The path of the eclipse is shown in this image. The red band at the center shows the area that will see 100% of the moon in front of the sun, with a “ring of fire” surrounding it. The areas in yellow will see partial eclipses, with the moon partially in front of the sun.The eclipse will start in Africa, while the sun is below the horizon, so some spots will actually see the eclipsed sun at sunrise.
