storyofagayboy:BREAKING NEWS Hundreds of people have poured into New York’s Foley Square and Lafayette Street to voice their outrage that NYPD Officer, Daniel Pantaleo, will not be charged in the death of unarmed 43-year-old Eric Garner in July. Garner’s death was ruled a homicide, and the chokehold Pantaleo used to subdue Garner even though he was not resisting, was illegal - despite this, the grand jury decided not to indict him. This comes amid widespread protests over the shooting death of Michael Brown where the man who killed him, Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson, was also not charged. Protestors can currently be heard chanting ‘Black lives matter’ and “I can’t breathe,” the last words of Eric Garner as he was killed, he screamed this 11 times as he was attacked.
