Jim Lind and Craig McDean’s photoshoots of him are my favourites for any actor, mainly because they’ve managed not to capture much of the negativity. Great magical photography aside, it’s nice to see support for him.I’m not defending him, that would imply he needs defending. No, I just see a bit of myself in him and once you do that with somebody, it is very hard to dislike them. You can see very obviously and openly that’s he’s trying to figure his life out and I think it is kind of nice to see a person not have it all together, admit to their stupidity and own it. He’s pretty articulate for a guy who is a mess sometimes. Anyway, I can’t really throw shade at someone who prompted Tom Hardy to become Forrest Bondurrant.
