carsthatnevermadeitetc:Vector Prototype, 1972. This was the first Vector, shown at the Auto Expo ’72 in Los Angeles as a 1:1 model made of urethane foam. It was a brainchild of engineer Jerry Wiegert who died recently (January 15, 2021). Wiegert worked with Lee Brown of Precision Auto to create the prototype which they planned to be powered by a mid-mounted 220 hp rotary engine.
