This photograph comes from LJS 185 Psalter leaves and Matthew leaf, in Coptic, with headings and commentary in Arabic on the right side. The text was written for the monastery of Saint Anthony on the Red Sea in Egypt in the 1700s or 1800s. The combination of the ornamentation in red ink and the two different written languages has a beautiful aesthetic impact.
