“Hammy in the Clover”My family dog, Hamlet, was a giant ball of curious joy wrapped up in the body of a black lab/hound mutt. Every spring he would go out into the front yard and spend a good few minutes sniffing out the best patch of clover that he would then collapse into, rolling around on his back, snorting like a pig, grabbing mouthfuls and tossing the chunks up in the air and all over himself.
