At the moment I identify as agender and I feel very comfortable in that, but I am very feminine. I wear bright makeup most days and usually wear skirts, and for me it has nothing to do with my gender how I dress and look- but anyways, wearing things that show my legs does get me some comments. I can tell my parents don’t quite like it, they’ve said as much a few times, but my friends think it’s punk and I honestly think it’s pretty. To me having hairy legs, though considered manly by society, is an expression of beauty, and beauty is suitable for all genders. It doesn’t make me feel ugly, and the last time I shaved I only felt like I had gotten rid of something that made me confident. Honestly I love my legs! I like how fuzzy they are and how the hair looks gold when the light catches it, and how it looks like it belongs on my body because it does. I’m only 16, and that’s such a hard time in terms of how you view yourself, but for me not shaving feels natural and only gives me confidence. Shave or not, how your body looks is your choice, and only yours, and you should choose what makes you happy. -- source link
