This is Sadia, she’s 19 and from Cameroon. She’s from a Muslim family, but two years ago, after some Christian friends shared about Jesus, she chose to become a Christian. She was secretly baptized. All was good. Then her life fell apart. Her family found out about her new faith - they were really angry - so much so that Sadia had to go into hiding. For two years she’s been living with the family of a local pastor. If that wasn’t bad enough, she then got diagnosed with cancer. She’s been undergoing treatments for the last year. She recently left the hospital and is doing well, back with the family of the pastor. Her only contact with her family is the occasional phone call from her mom - who tries to convince her to give up her faith in Jesus. But Sadia can’t. After all she’s been through, she has some incredible advice:“The Bible says there is a time for everything… A time to cry, a time to smile. We only want the good times, but the Bible says there is a time for all things. We must be prepared for all times.” -- source link
