(38.8cm.) across, boxA guri lacquer square box and cover 19th Century carved through layers of black and red lacquer with symmetrical scrolling designs — 5¼in. (13.4cm.) wide, (minor wear).A small Chinese guri lacquer box and cover 19th century of circular shape, deeply carved through the layers with geometric ruyi head designs, metal mounts to the rims — 2½in.
