But then daddy told her something encouraging. “If you just give twenty seconds of courage every day, you’d be surprised at the rewards you can reap.” He smiled at her, brushing her blonde hair over her ear. “Ok, daddy.” She smiled. “I think I can do it.” “There’s a good girl.” He put his arm around her. “I’ve picked something special out for the occasion.
