hahahaenglishmajor:Can I just talk about these two pages and how much they resonated with me? Because nowadays when it comes to relationships everyone ends up asking themselves if the person they’re going out with (or who they want to go out with) is the one they want to spend the rest of their life with, and that’s pretty much perpetuated by every other form of media. There’s this huge misconception that life is about finding the one person that you’re fated to be with and most of the time just thinking about something like that, no matter what age you are, is absolutely daunting. But in reality, the question shouldn’t be “If the world was going to end tomorrow, who would be the one person you would save?” It should be something simple like, “If you have an extra ticket to a really good movie, who would you take?” And even though a topic like love is sometimes really complicated and ambiguous, and downright frightening, figuring out who it is you truly like and want to be with can be really, really, simple. I don’t know, maybe I’m putting too much thought into a 4-koma gag manga, but I really liked the sentiment behind it and felt like sharing. -- source link
