A lot was cut out of course and I missed the stuff with Glendower (actually not including that plot line made Worcester’s plot a lot more generic rather than something very specific to the Percy family). And the Hal was just far too old and that was really frustrating. The Katespur wasn’t too bad, which was a relief, and actually got pretty fanservicey ;) It wasn’t as good as the Macbeth I saw in Ft. Wayne (a different company) but that’s probably because I have such strong impressions from the RSC. The King was really fantastic. And my mom actually had some reaction, I was telling her that they really cut down the stuff Hal says to Ned about why am I even hanging out with you and the other rejections Hal makes and mom said “Poor Falstaff!” and so that’s pretty impressive. -- source link
