velvetcouch:it’s odd how ubiquitous all of vincent van gogh’s self portraits seem to be, yet i’ve never seen a photograph of him before. we all assume we know what he looked like- i’d never thought of looking up photos of him until now. i think maybe that’s a nod to either how wonderful (or how prolific) his selfies are. -- source link
