This is my new book, MAGONIA. It’s about to come out from HarperCollins (April 28). I am too excited to sleep. Photo one is me with my first copy, dressed fancy, because, well, I always take any chance to fancy it up. Photo two is rachelfershleiser‘s copy - she posted a photo, and it’s the first one I’ve seen in anyone’s hands but those of me or my people! Photo 3 is a scrap of bio showing the Tumblr logo, which Rachel liked, but I thought she was questioning my possession of the crocodile mentioned in my bio…so photo 4 is my crocodile. MAGONIA got a starred review in Publisher’s Weekly, lots of excellent things in lots of other places and there are many links here for pre-ordering. It’s about sky ships, star kingdoms, dying young, geekery, and love. Also stormsharks and birds that sing from inside your lungs. It’s a fantasy novel, after all, and written by someone obsessed with all the historical weird details of the world. -- source link
