When I lived in Hollywood my P.O. Box was next to Little Richard’s & in between his & Henry Rollins. I use to run into Little Richard sometimes & we would chat. One day he came in w/ a “bodyguard” that was so tiny it was funny. On our way out, I was behind Little Richard going down the stairs. He slipped & almost fell but I caught him in my arms. The “bodyguard” was literally looking up to the sky, oblivious to what just happened. Little Richard asked me to follow him to his white stretched limo. Said he had something for me. He handed me a bible and this postcard he signed for me. Unbelievable! I still have this in a safe place & I cherish it. I also did my Little Richard impression & he said to his bodyguard “Ohhhh, this girl could sing”! Made my day! #LittleRichard #legend #soul #musicheals #musicsaveslives ⛪ -- source link
