Aye Aye, NuttyContext Masterpost of Sonic Fankid Images Be HereI’ll start with the obvious important ones, the prince and princess! Sherwin is the eldest of the two at 15, sharing his father’s speed and embarrassing real name syndrome. He typically goes by Swift instead of Sherwin and tries to avoid anyone knowing it. Naturally, annoying little sister Sonia goes out of her way to tell everyone. He’s the more responsible of the two kids, majorly due to being shouldered with the tedious responsibility of having a little sister who just loves to cause trouble. He’s pretty into looking ‘cool’, though, not realizing that everyone recognizes and loves that he’s a total dweeb. Both kids share their dads speed but Swift is faster than Sonia by quite a bit, though this could be chalked up to Sonia being younger and less coordinated. It’s probably for the best, though, because Sonia is a troublemaker incarnate. She refuses to wear shoes most of the time, rarely brushes her quill-like hair, and runs around in clothes too big for her because they’re ‘comfortable’ and she can get them dirty without caring. She really, truly hates dressing up in any sort of fancy attire at all and is more the explorer type. Swift has to keep a pretty close eye on her because if he doesn’t, she typically will run off to find something more interesting to do. She’s best friends with Rémy D’Coolette, her troublemaker-in-arms. Rémy is an adventurous young lad with a good mind, attending a private elementary school alongside Sonia (who almost never wears her uniform). The kid is good natured and brave but can sometimes fall a little on the clueless side, far too willing to trust just about anyone and give his affections to random girls. His father is teaching him to use a sword, but he’s only started recently so he’s not very good at it yet. He hangs out with Sonia pretty much wherever the wind takes them but also will spend some time with Swift at the castle, having a good deal of respect for Swift and thinking often that maybe Sonia should respect her older brother more (since he’s an only child, he’s just a little jealous that she has a sibling). All three of them know Camilla Rose, who goes by Cammy and is staying with the Acorn family so that she can continue her boxing career uninterrupted. Her brother and sister, Hunter and Holly, stay with their parents (who are either exploring or on Angel Island). Cammy is extraordinarily strong and has a decent fan following in the boxing ring, having inherited her father’s strength and trained with him when she asked to. Cammy is generally a sarcastic but good natured kid, but makes a lot of bad decisions based on perceived slights or on her past. She pretends to not care about that she was not selected to be the guardian of the Emerald (not being compatible with it) but secretly harbors a resentment that it chose Holly instead. Because of it she feels directionless and takes a lot of the aggression she feels about it out via boxing. This directionless is why she ends up falling in with youth mercenaries Jasper and Maria. Both have been doing so since a young age, with discouragement from both parents, but neither wants to give up the mercenary life. While Maria at least dons a cover of being a clothing model in order to pretend she isn’t a mercenary, Jasper refuses and wears his occupation on his sleeve. Unlike some mercenaries we all could think of the twins go out of their way to avoid taking jobs from just anyone. Rather they try to find people who actually truly need their help. Both are extremely confident in their abilities and certain of their place in the world, which is what draws Cammy to trust them and associate with them. Eventually she joins up with them, boxing on the side and doing mercenary work with the twins as her major career. Swift only knows the twins in passing for the most part but is a secret fanboy of Maria’s modeling work and has a crush on the ‘model’ Maria but knows nothing about the real Maria. Holly Rose is the wild card in all of this–the youngest child of Knuckles and Amy, she is surprisingly demure and had never left Angel Island before meeting Swift, Sonia, and Rémy. As the hereditary guardian of the Master Emerald she feels most compelled to stay by its side, and has a strong spiritual connection with the Emeralds and thus has never wanted to leave previously. However this has led her to being somewhat naive of the world around her and thus oftentimes making ill advised decisions when off of Angel Island. She strongly admires Swift’s maturity and decision making skills, thinking of him as a mighty hero. Rémy thinks she’s ‘the cutest’ and has a big crush on her, but its not recuperated. He talks about her a lot and Sonia doesn’t get it and is very annoyed by it. Hunter is just the dopey middle child momma’s boy. He’s a supportive and nice kid. But he’s also kind of a wuss. Together they are a bunch of dopey fankids having dopey fankid adventures. And you all can guess where this lineage goes!
