trippin-over-my-fandoms:I WASN’T THERE TO TAKE HIS PLACEI wanted a shot of Arthur smoking by the window in the hotel in Valentine but a hanging was taking place outside. It added a bit more of a morbid and thoughtful twist to this photoset. The lyric is from Gale Song by the Lumineers, which greatly reminds me of Arthur. It also reminded me of how Arthur watched his own father hang and, at this point in Chapter 2 when I took them and before getting TB, if he wonders if he’ll eventually meet his own end in similar fashion as payment for the things he’s done.
