theshadowytiger: This adorable guy is Posh. He is Lazarou’s brother that is currently still in the local shelter. Posh needs your help! Posh is a sweet boy whose injured back leg requires surgery before he can be available for adoption. All of his siblings left to new homes and he has stayed behind! The burden of an expensive surgery is painful for a shelter. The smallest amount of help would mean so much. Please consider it even if you can only take a dollar out of your PayPal account! This blog tries to stay 100% original (aka no reblogs, all self made content) but we are also wary of signal boosts because you never know if they are real, or if those cat pictures were picked up off the internet. We never want to send followers on a wild goose chase with the internet being chock full of scams. However this is a 501c3 nonprofit animal shelter (the one Lazarou came from). You can check that this is their actual website and their legitimate donation page. This is not a separate fund, we are literally linking to the shelter’s donation page, so you can verify it. Donation Link (Click button below the heart - Thank You!!!)Since this is going directly to a certifiable shelter we knew we could put it forward. You’ll know your money is going to help a poor kitten in need. June is Adopt A Shelter Cat month and we would be honored if people adopted Posh into their hearts! This is a great time of year to help and this little sweetie would appreciate it! It doesn’t have to end after donating because when Posh comes home you can follow his adventures online here! A 501c3 charity receives no government funding (national or state). Any donations made with this link go directly to this particular shelter (the SPCA of Upstate NY) rather than the national SPCA’s general donation fund. It goes right to Posh’s surgery! Questions you might have: Tiger, how do I know it is a real shelter? This is a branch of the SPCA that services upstate New York. You can verify this by checking their online presence and status as a 501c3 nonprofit. Click here for the SPCA of Upstate NY homepage & more links provided below! Right! This is an SPCA shelter so your donation is a charitable tax deduction. Win/win! How did you two kitties hear about Posh’s plight? When Lazarou was adopted we thought all their siblings were already adopted too. Seeing the name of one kitten from Lazarou’s litter still on Petfinder made us curious so we had Human email them. It turned out one was not yet able to be adopted because of injury so he had not been mentioned on our visit. What will happen to Posh after surgery? That’s the best part! Human believes in keeping siblings together, so because Posh is related to Lazarou he was offered a home here with us!You can watch him grow up a little more every day on this blog! You can follow him in his new home and see the effect your donation had! Will Posh still be named Posh? No, once Posh comes home he will be renamed. Please reblog this with any name suggestions! What was that link again?Donation Link. Thank you for your kindness! This kitty will appreciate it and his caretakers will too! Whatever donation you can make, please do!! Your donation of ANY size would mean the world to this shelter. If everyone that enjoys Tiger and Lazarou gave a tiny bit we could accomplish so much for this small town shelter! Please help Posh walk into his forever home on four paws! -- source link
