sindri42:uesp: A Bosmer, was slain. The Altmer claims the Dunmer is guilty. The Dunmer says the Khajiit did it. The Orc swears he didn’t kill the Bosmer. The Khajiit says the Dunmer is lying. If only one of these speaks the truth, who killed the Bosmer?–A question from The Yellow Book of Riddles At a glance, the Khajiit and the Dunmer directly contradict one another. If only one of the four speaks the truth, it has to be one of them because if the Khajiit lies then the Dunmer tells the truth and vice versa. Therefore, the Altmer and the Orc must both be lying. And since the Orc swears he didn’t kill the Bosmer, and he is lying, he’s guilty. As always, the Altmer and the Dunmer take any opportunity to use somebody else’s tragedy to attack unrelated people, and the innocent Khajiit is only trying to defend themself. From the wiki article i looked up on this book; your correct. It was the Orc. -- source link
