daintyslifter: liftedmood: liftingcuteshit: MASTERPOST OF RFID TAGS: -Bar codes don’t set off towers, BUT an RFID can be under a barcode. If there is a sticker barcode, either hold it to the light or lift it and look underneath it. Refer to picture #3. If you look closely, you can see a maze of lines beneath the stickers. This is what a barcode sticker laced with an RFID will look like. -Basically, beware of suspicious stickers placed on merchandise. I’ve seen plain white square stickers and when I held it to the light, I saw a maze of lines under it and knew it was an RFID. -refer to picture 4. These are the commonly used RFIDs. You can find them placed on the outside of some merch. I opened a pregnancy test at Walmart one time and saw one placed on the inside flap of the box, so be careful with boxed items as well. -The RFID in pic 2 is easy to spot. I see the on Naked Pallets at Ulta all the time. Self explanatory if you know what to look for. -THIS LAST PICTURE IS VERY IMPORTANT. A lot of people don’t know about these. It’s a seen in RFID tag, common in department stores or “fancy clothing stores”. So, look for these on the inside of your clothes. They are commonly sewn in on the side of shirts/sweaters/jackets. This is why I carry nail scissors in my purse. If I ever come across them; I can cut them off. All I can say is, if you see a silver maze of lines under a sticker, on a package, or inside of a tag; tear it off. Also, if you are lifting clothing; slightly tear the paper tags attached to clothing because RFIDs can also hide in there (even though it’s kinda rare). Be careful and be safe. Xoxo H£em have paper tags with RFIDs in them, it’s stated on the tag and you can clearly see and feel it. I haven’t seen it in all their clothes so far, I think they’re rolling them out and all the new tags will have them. never not reblogging this bc this is very important tag info for any beginner lifters out there! -- source link
