girlthatlikesguns: zestyasfuck: girlthatlikesguns: suppressed-vixen: girlthatlikesguns: suppressed-vixen: zestyasfuck: WHAT U NERDS KNOW ABOUT GUNZ? Nice Famas Actually looks kinda like a VHS but I dunno what it really is?? It’s a Type 97, most likely the civilian import model Oh wow, I didn’t realise China imported flat tops. Lucky Canadians… @girlthatlikesguns the FTU (flat top upper) is made by a Canadian company called M14.ca actually. They come carry handle which, while I enjoy the looks of, is awful to shoot due to the abhorrent sights. I think the flat top looks better but that’s just my opinion. Can y'all get cq rifles from norinco or does Canada not allow that? The FTU is leaps and bounds better for sure. The first batch of T-97s that came into the country around 2007 (iirc) included some of the CQ variants. However, the RCMP came to the conclusion after many of the firearms had been bought, that they were actually converted autos and thus deemed prohibited. They were initially non-restricted and restricted depending on the barrel length. The CQ variants are super slick but I have my doubts that they’ll be available again. -- source link
