Heart of the Moors was such a fun book. I loved the atmosphere of the two kingdoms that Holly Black’s writing captured so well. The story focuses on Aurora’s journey trying to unite the two kingdoms, and her love for Maleficent and Prince Phillip. It was great to read further insights into these characters and their motivations. Maleficent is such an interesting character, I loved seeing her relationship with Aurora grow and her powers were so cool. It was good to see more of the friendship turned romance between Prince Phillip and Aurora explored in Heart of the Moors and to get more of an understanding to Prince Phillip’s character.Overall, Heart of the Moors is a fun read that delves further into Maleficent and Aurora’s world. I highly recommend reading it if you are a fan of fairytales, sleeping beauty and Maleficent!Thank you to Scholastic Australia for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review. -- source link
