When I photograph something I should really learn to make backdrops…Repainted Optimus Prime! Cause really that hunk of plastic before? What even. How did I even get that thing.FUNNY STORY.I got my mom to watch Transformers: Prime with me and now she’s got a serious robo-crush on Optimus Prime. Any Optimus Prime figure she finds at the thrift store she gets and gives to me as if it’s an excuse she’s not just getting it for her own entertainment. (Needless to say my mom still kinda struggles to tell them apart and brought home an Ultra Magnus and when I told her it wasn’t Optimus she was really disappointed… “But he’s blue and red!”) Anyway. I had ONE Optimus Prime figure, which I bought myself like four years ago and was perfectly content. I now have five Optimus Prime figures (and an Ultra Magnus, we’ll include him as a bonus). This one included! But man it just looked so sad. I don’t have any fancy art supplies so, basic craft acrylics and gloss modge podge will have to do. c: I’m also really sloppy in my painting I probably shouldn’t do any more robots and just stick to my dinosaurs…ALSO, THOSE ARE NOT OPTIMUS PRIME’S LEGS ON THAT FIGURE. I HAD A HELL OF A HARD TIME INTERPRETING THOSE. AND HIS AFT. THAT’S WRONG TOO. -- source link
