tropicalhomestead:Cape Jasmine 6.11.2016I started this bush from a hardwood cutting. I planted it next to Mom’s memorial bench just a few months after she died. A bench and flowers may seem like an odd way to honor her, since she was never one to stop and smell the roses, or sit still for that matter. But she loved the smell of gardenias. Even she would be arrested by this explosion of flowers. It’s a good reminder for me to take a moment and enjoy life’s brief but abundant beauty. -- source link
