idlesuperstar:Columbo: Double Shock [1973] is one of my very fave episodes, for lots of reasons, Including: extra scruffy and shambly Columbo, Mrs Peck calling Columbo a BUM! (along with other great things in great scenes), THE TELLY SHOW COOKERY SCENE, and of course Martin Landau (and Martin Landau) as the twin brothers. It’s brilliantly filmed without ever being gimmicky, in the best tradition of dual role acting. And everybody is at the top of their game. If you want to pay tribute to Martin Landau, this is an excellent way to do so. -- source link
