greek-museums:Archaeological Museum of Heraklion:“The Apollonian Triad”Three small statues from the temple of Apollo at Dreros, identified as the god Apollo, Artemis, and their mother Leto. The statues probably stood on a stone structure which contained goat horns and bronze objects, which may have served as an altar for animal sacrifices. The statues are the earliest known Greek hammered bronze statues, made of joined bronze sheets hammered over a wooden core that is not preserved. Geometric period, 8th century B.C -- source link
