The bleeding hearts of the world were so concerned with the treatment of the animals in the traveling circus that nobody thought to look into the treatment of the performers themselves. Take these young women, for example. Kidnapped from an after-hours training session at their gymnastics facility several years ago, the pair now traveled the country as circus performers. Unbeknownst to the attendees, these poor women are actually slaves, tightly bound and contained between shows. Their only hope for release was in getting too old to perform, at which point the men who managed the circus would probably abandon them along the side of the road as the circus made its way to the next location. -- source link
