hello again I am back in edinburgh and there is no heating and I have a beautiful big window with wooden panelled shutters and I have taken to wearing a printed headscarf I subversively appropriated after a fancy dress party a couple of years ago now lack of posting has come about from the busiest start to an academic year I have ever had. in between contrivedly attempting to woo a boy I have variously been spotted stumbling in and out of ‘tech house’ events from edinburgh to glasgow, crying hysterically (with laughter or unbounded emotion, you decide) at open mic nights, taking gentle promenades through the botanics and sampling anechoic chambers up and down the country. anyone who does not know me (everyone on this platform) will now have a preconception of my person that is infinitely distant from the truth and I enjoy that this photograph was taken on a norfolk beach this summer after a four mile walk over dusty fields and red clay paths littered with wild flowers with a couple of sand dunes thrown in for good measure.I had had a leisurely bottle of wine, the sun was preparing to dip back below the sea and sand stretched languorously around me. with some schoolfriends, and in the best, sublimely drunken mood, I proceeded to strip off amidst the scrubby summit of a dune and run into the water just as the sun glared low and tangerine over the waves. I pulled through the sea towards it and it is honestly the most liberated I can remember feeling all summer I may only start to post tomorrow I do also have an essay due in.. goodbye for now -- source link
