friendly-neighborhood-patriarch:nonenosome:siryouarebeingmocked:gunrunnersarsenal:capitalism-and-analytics:Ah yes, the evils of Capitalism, the market invents a product that aids drowsy drivers from falling asleep at the wheel and getting into an accident.Darn that Capitalism and their…..SAFETY!!!!they probably shouldnt have to drive nonstop for rly long times to get into these kind of situation where they would need these kind of technological developments…?Truckers often choose to do this kind of crap to make extra money even when they’re explicitly told not to. By law and regulation. Also, how is it capitalism’s fault if some driver stayed up all night on his phone instead of of getting sleep like he’s supposed to?What if someone randomly wants to go for a drive at night, but they want something to keep them up without using coffee? What if they have some kind of job that requires emergency, late night driving? How much is Daddy State supposed to keep people from making choices and suffering the consequences?I’m pretty sure people lost sleep before capitalism.I’ve almost fallen asleep twice while driving. Not as a trucker, but just because it had been a long day and I needed to drive across town to go home. Daddy state is supposed to remove all choice whatsoever. That’s the end goal of all Socialism/Communism -- source link
